RoIP Gateways: Seamless Radio-over-IP to SIP Interoperability
Bridge two-way radios, walkie-talkies, and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems directly into IP PBX, dispatch consoles, and SIP networks.

Consult immediatelyThe Becke ROIP Gateway System supports voice-to-IP conversion, PTT signal control, cross-band interoperability, remote dispatch access, and network bridging over fiber, VPN, 4G/5G, or satellite. It enables different radio systems to work together while extending communication reach, improving command efficiency, and supporting stable operation across distributed sites.
The gateway digitizes analog voice signals received from radios and converts them into IP packets using standard codecs such as G.711 or G.729, allowing voice traffic to be transmitted smoothly over the internet, private IP networks, or local area networks.
It detects the Push-To-Talk signal from connected radio equipment and accurately maps that control action to the IP side, and vice versa, ensuring that the familiar half-duplex radio communication logic remains consistent across the entire system.
The ROIP gateway enables communication between different radio technologies and frequency bands, such as VHF, UHF, DMR, and TETRA, making it possible to connect legacy analog radios with modern digital systems across different regions or organizations.
By linking the gateway to a dispatch platform, PC software, or mobile application, operators can remotely monitor radio channels, record conversations, issue live announcements, and coordinate field teams from virtually any location with network access.
It can interconnect multiple remote radio sites over VPN, fiber, 4G/5G, or the public internet, creating a unified communication framework that supports centralized management and seamless voice connectivity across geographically dispersed locations.
The gateway removes the traditional line-of-sight limitations of radio communication. As long as an IP connection is available—whether through fiber, cellular networks, microwave links, or satellite—radio users can communicate across cities, regions, or even globally.
