Overview

After the remote party hangs up a call, the local phone will play a busy tone (beep sound). This document provides a solution to disable this tone.

All models of our company's IP phones.

Target Audience

This document is intended for daily maintenance personnel responsible for troubleshooting phone issues.

Solution: Adjust Auto Hang-up Time

Log in to the phone's web interface, go to “Telephone Settings” --“Features Setup” -- “Basic Settings”, set the “Auto Hang-up Time” to 0, and finally click “Submit”.
