Introduction
Overview
When two indoor SIP stations are connected to the same reachable local network, they can call each other directly by IP address without registering to a PBX. This allows basic intercom communication within the local network.

i51W / i52W / i53W / i56A
What You Need
① One i51W, one i52W, and one i53W, plus one PoE switch (or a DC power supply). Connect the devices to the switch.
② One PC for setup and testing. Connect the PC to the same switch and make sure the PC and the devices can reach each other on the network.
Device and PC Connection Diagram
Connect the i51W, i52W, and i53W to the switch, and connect the PC to the same switch so that the PC and the devices are on the same network, as shown in Figure 1.

Configuration Methods
Speed-Dial Calling (for i51W / i52W / i53W / i56A)
Enter the device IP address in a web browser and log in to the indoor station web interface. The default username and password are both admin.
Go to Function Key --- DSS Key --- DSS Key Settings, fill in the required information, and submit the configuration.
Set the key type to Memory Key, enter any custom name you prefer, and set the value to the IP address of the remote device. Then choose Speed Dial as the action type.
For i51W / i52W: users can check the device IP address from the System Information menu on the unit.
For i53W: users can press Menu >> Status to view the device IP address.
For i56A: after startup, pull down the notification bar to check the device IP address.

Manual Dialing (for i53W / i56A)
On the indoor station, tap Call Log, open the dial pad, and enter the destination IP address to place the call.
For example, if device A is 172.18.8.22 and you want to call 172.18.8.23, enter the target IP address on the dial pad. Use the * key in place of the dot . when dialing the IP address.



Important Notes
Disable Strict UA Match so that other devices can call this device successfully.

Enable Allow Unregistered Outgoing Calls so that the device can call other devices even when it is not registered to a SIP server.
