Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. is a large multinational mining group principally engaged in the exploration and development of metal mineral resources such as gold and copper, as well as in the applied research of engineering technologies. The company’s output of gold, copper, zinc and silver ranks among the top three in China. It owns significant mining investment projects in 14 domestic provinces (regions) and 12 overseas countries. Domestically these include the Zijinshan Gold-Copper Mine in Fujian, the Duobaoshan Copper Mine in Heilongjiang, the Qulong Copper Mine in Tibet and other key mines. Overseas projects include the Buriticá Gold Mine in Colombia, the Kamoa Copper Mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Peji Copper-Gold Mine in Serbia, the Zijin Bor Copper Mine and other internationally influential operations. Among them, the Kamoa Copper Mine contains 43.69 million tonnes of copper metal resources, making it the fourth-largest copper mine in the world. As of the end of 2020, the company possessed 2,334 tonnes of gold, 62.06 million tonnes of copper and 11.86 million tonnes of zinc (lead). Overseas gold and copper mineral resources, output and profit contribution all exceed or approach half of the group’s total.

IP Command & Dispatch Communication Requirements
The company comprises the General Manager’s Office, Operations & Finance Department, Enterprise Management Department, Human Resources Department, Production Management Department, Technical Services Department, Public Administration Department, Safety Production Supervision Department, Security Department, multiple mining areas, concentrating plants and other functional departments and workshops. The company needs a unified address book for all on-site dispatch telephones and administrative telephones to lay the foundation for future converged dispatching and other communication applications; internal production dispatch communication in each mine must provide recording, monitoring, forced release, forced insertion, all-call, group call, conference, one-touch call, alarm plan, electronic map and other dispatch functions; interconnection between mines and between the central control room and each mine must be effortless, with the central control room’s large screen displaying the status of each mine and providing map positioning.

IP Dispatch System

The address books of all departments, mines and workshops are stored in the dispatch system, enabling one-touch dialing for rapid connection to required personnel; the system supports forced insertion and forced release—when a mine or workshop line is busy, the central control room can forcibly insert for emergency dispatching; single or multiple group calls are fast, convenient and efficient, allowing all members of a designated group to be called simultaneously, with personnel joining the conference upon answering to discuss extraction and processing plans, improving efficiency; one-touch alarm and tamper-proof alarm are supported—when an abnormal situation occurs, the system issues an alert containing the alarm source, status and occurrence time, allowing the dispatcher in Shihu Company’s central control room to handle or clear the alarm; the system supports a large-screen electronic map—when an alarm occurs, the alarm location is clearly displayed so that handling plans can be arranged promptly.
