Dazhou Women and Children’s Hospital (Dazhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Huaxi-Dazhou Women and Children’s Hospital) is a public, Grade-B, women-and-children-focused hospital jointly built by the Dazhou Municipal Government and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Sichuan University (West China). Integrating medical treatment, health care, rehabilitation, teaching, scientific research, and public-health technical guidance for the entire city, the hospital is the earliest in Dazhou to be certified as a National “Baby-Friendly” Hospital, a National “March 8th Red-Banner” Unit, a Provincial “Civilized Unit,” and the Dazhou Sub-Center for Children and Adolescents’ Eye Care & Optometry.
