Wawushan Scenic Area, the core zone of Wawushan National Forest Park, is situated in Wawushan Town (Bingling Township), Hongya County. Standing at 2,830 m above sea level and covering 100,000 mu, it lies 87 km from Hongya county seat. Rich in tourism resources, experts have verified that its scenic quality is 1.48 times that of Mount Emei. As early as the Sui and Tang dynasties it was already famed—together with Mount Emei—as one of the “Two Marvels of Shu” for its rugged mountains, crystal waters, deep forests, and distinctive scenery. Su Dongpo’s verse, “After spring snow, Wawu’s cold peaks pile high; after the rain, Emei’s green sweeps the sky,” vividly praises Wawushan’s natural beauty.

 

Project Background and Requirements

To achieve the goals of a smart scenic area and smart hotels, Wawushan Scenic Area must upgrade its “scenic-area brain” and urgently deploy a broadcast & intercom system. The system needs to provide area-wide broadcasting, zone-based intercom, and background music during idle periods, so that visitors can be guided and alerted at any time and staff can receive emergency dispatch instructions.

 

The beckiot Scenic Area Broadcast & Intercom System must satisfy three key functional requirements:

 

1. Broadcasting Function

From the control center, operators can perform all-area or zone-specific broadcasting, supporting live, scheduled, and triggered emergency broadcasts to all loudspeaker-equipped zones.

 

2. Intercom Function

The system supports intercom and paging, enabling IP phones, video phones, or voice/video intercom terminals to communicate with each other.

 

3. Dispatch Function

Via the monitoring-center dispatch console, emergency command and dispatch can be directed to all zones or specified zones, arranging staff assignments across the scenic area.

 

IP Broadcast & Intercom Converged Dispatch Solution — Implementation Details

 

1. Deploy an emergency dispatch server in the equipment room, connecting it to the WAN or LAN to meet inter-departmental communication and collaborative dispatch needs.

 

2. Install relevant terminal hardware in each scenic area zone, including servers, paging microphones, video phones, IP phones, SIP loudspeakers, voice terminals, video terminals, cluster-radio gateways, handheld radios, mobile radios, emergency call columns, broadcast gateways, power amplifiers, and horns.

 

3. Through the monitoring-center dispatch console, emergency command and dispatch can be executed for all zones or specific zones, allowing unified scheduling of security, reception, office, and other staff.

 

4. When security staff leave the office for patrols, handheld radios enable calling and intercom with other departments.

 

5. Background music can be played during idle periods.
